We love TuneCore here – we’ve seen the amazing work they do for their musician members and it seems like their services are continuously improving.

As a matter of fact, their latest post talks about how they can help their members get their music on.. get this… movies, television shows, commercials, and more! For an independent musician or band, it’s incredibly hard to get their music heard by the right people. However, with TuneCore, their staff has all the right connections and knowledge to get the music in the right hands.

Their post interviewing Peter Rogers gave some great tips for songwriters to get a Music Supervisor’s attention. You can also learn more about how they administer your copyrights so you can receive revenue and take better control of use of your music, and using the Tunecore staff’s wealth of knowledge and experience.

We’ve talked about TuneCore quite a bit here. It’s a great platform for musicians who are looking to spread their music and make their well-earned money. Here’s a surprising fact: in 2014 – Q2 (that’s 3 months), TuneCore artists have earned a whopping $33.2 million in revenue!

Check out this infographic from TuneCore to see the amazing achievements they have made by partnering with independent musicians!

I know one of International Giveaway’s biggest fans and users happens to also be an international musician with a superb band and fan following in her country. I have often spoken about TuneCore because I think it’s a great resource for musicians like her, and today I want to introduce you guys to how helpful in can be in getting an international reach.

Adventure Club, an independent group that is not signed up to a label, was interviewed about their experience with TuneCore and how it’s been helpful at increasing their international reach. Last week, over 80 TuneCore artists actually took the stage last week in Toronto and put on a great show.

Check out the article here and learn how TuneCore can help you reach more fans!

We’ve spoken about TuneCore before – it’s a great system for musicians who want to get their music out to the right ears. Well, there’s another great benefit to their services: helping songwriters and musicians collect and generate royalties all over the world.

Let’s imagine a scenario: a commercial in South Korea uses your song for their ad. You live way in the other end of the world. You will never hear this commercial or be aware of the use of your composition. What does that equal? Lost money from royalties for your hard work! This wouldn’t happen to you with TuneCore, as you can read in this post.

TuneCore user Brian Crain, a successful composer, was interviewed about his use of their Music Publishing Administration service. Their team works very hard to help songwriters in the community collect and generate royalties from all corners in the world. He was able to collect on royalties he had no idea about. Read his interview here to find out about how they can help you, too!

For these reasons and more, we can’t recommend TuneCore enough for musicians!

As a kid, my mom used to go to every single show and holiday concert that my school arranged. By the time we 5 kids finished school, we had hundreds of VHS tapes stored in the living room. It was taking up a lot of space and by then, who really had a VHS player at home? No one! It was already an outdated piece of technological history… we couldn’t even watch the videos.

So, we did the smart thing and decide to preserve the VHS tapes into digital form. The hundreds of tapes translated into only 24 DVDs, all of which were neatly labeled and stored. Now these we could watch easily, and we did many times! We had a really good time remembering the good old days.

If you also have tapes, films, photos and audio that you want to store digitally, there’s an easy and an inexpensive way to do it. Check out Southtree, who are one of the best providers of this service. They will do all the work for you and restore all your keepsakes in digital form. Imagine what a wonderful gift it could be for mom!

They are now offering a discount of 25% off any order by using the code: blog25. You only have until July 15, 2014 so hurry!
